«فیل مرغ» به کارگردانی امیرمسعود سهیلی تندیس بهترین فیلم کوتاه داستانی دومین جشنواره بینالمللی flumicino ایتالیا را از آن خود کرد.
پیش از این فیلم کوتاه «فیل مرغ» به کارگردانی «امیرمسعود سهیلی» در نخستین حضور بین المللی خود موفق به کسب تندیس بهترین فیلم بیست و سومین دوره جشنواره بینالمللی فلم آوانکا پرتقال شده بود.
فیلم کوتاه «فیل مرغ» به همکاری انجمن سینمای جوانان مشهد، سیمیا فیلم، استودیو دیدگاه و افغان فیلم ساخته شده است. «فیلمرغ» داستان پیرمرد افغانستانی را که آخرین آرزویش رساندن فیلمرغ به نوهاش است را روایت میکند.
امیرمسعود سهیلی کارگردان متولد 1366 در مشهد است. او پسر حمیدرضا سهیلی، نویسنده و کارگردان پیشکسوت تئاتر است. سهیلی ساخت فیلم و سفر را بر دیگر امور ترجیح میدهد و دریافت جوایز رنگارنگ جهانی و داوری پنج جشنواره مطرح بینالمللی را در کارنامهاش دارد.
