درنگی دیگر در گزینش روز ملی مشهد

سالهاست انتخاب روزی به نام روز ملی مشهد مطرح است و در این اواخر این موضوع به طور جدی‌تر مورد توجه قرار گرفته و در برخی نشریات، میزگردها و بحث‌هایی به آن اختصاص یافته است. تاکنون برای برخی شهرها یا استان‌ها روزهایی انتخاب شده است. این انتخاب‌ها بعضا تصنعی و شاید نوعی رفع تکلیف بوده مثل آنکه در یک مورد بر مبنای حروف ابجد نام شهر، عددی در آمده است یا یکی از پیشنهادها در مورد خود مشهد که براساس نوبت امامت حضرت رضا که بر آن مبنا ایشان به ثامن الائمه و ثامن الحجج مشهور شده اند، هشتمین روز از هشتمین ماه انتخاب شود.

بی تردید نام مشهد، از تاریخ شکل‌گیری تا وجه تسمیه آن به هشتمین امام شیعیان مرتبط است و بخش اصلی هویت این شهر با نام و یاد ایشان گره خورده است و این قولی است که جملگی بر آنند. بر این مبنا پیشنهادی که شاید بیش از همه و از سوی بیشترین صاحب نظران در این باب مطرح شده، روز ورود امام رضا به مشهد بوده است. زادروز و روز شهادت ایشان که دو گزینه دیگر در این زمینه بود، با توجه به جایگاه رسمی آن در تقویم، به درستی رد شد؛ چرا که مناسبت تازه ای برای مشهد به ارمغان نمی آورد و با توجه به اشتهار آن برای مناسبتی از پیش شناخته شده، هیچ گاه به نام روز مشهد شناخته نخواهد شد. با این حال اساسا روزهایی چون ورود امام رضا به مشهد و دیگر رویدادهای تاریخ سده های نخستین اسلام و تشیع همچون میلاد و وفات یا شهادت پیامبر اسلام و پیشوایان و امامان شیعه همه بر حسب تاریخ قمری است و هیچ گاه تبدیل آن به روزی ثابت در تاریخ خورشیدی برای ثبات در طول سال سابقه ای پذیرفتنی نداشته است و مقبول و نهادینه نخواهد شد.

چنانکه اشاره شد، نام مشهد از منظر هویت با امام هشتم گره خورد است. با این حال از آنجا که این نام و دیگر نامهای این شهر همچون مشهد الرضا و مشهد مقدس و ارض اقدس همگی بر گرفته از ارتباط آن با امام رضاست، اینکه روز مشهد هم مرتبط با ایشان باشد، چندان ضرورت نمی یابد و نوعی تکرار در این هویت مسجل است. افزون بر آن، مشهد اگر چه شهری است که پیدایش و نام آن مرهون ورود و شهادت امام رضا در این مکان است، چندین سده است که مرکز استان یا ایالت خراسان و مشخصا مرکز ولایتی است به نام توس که قبل از ورود امام رضا به آن و حتی پیش از اسلام از سرزمین‌های شناخته شده و فخرآفرین ایران بوده است. مشهد از این رو در هویت خود این گذشته تاریخی و میراث کهن خطه توس را که امروزه به مرکزیت آن درآمده است، باید نمایندگی کند.

شهر یا هر آبادی دیگر، موطن باشندگان آن و متعلق به همه مردمی است که در آن زندگی می‌کنند. مشهد از دیرباز تاکنون دربرگیرنده شهروندانی بوده است که گرچه اکثریت آن را شیعیان اثنی عشری تشکیل می داده اند، اقلیتهای قابل توجهی از شیعیان اسماعیلی و اهل سنت و کلیمیان و ارامنه و دیگر مسیحیان و پیروان دیگر آیینها را شامل می شده که همه با افتخار خود را مشهدی و منتسب به شهری می دانسته‌اند که نام خود را از امام هشتم شیعیان گرفته است. از این رو چنانکه اشاره شد، تکرار این انتساب به روز ملی مشهد چندان مناسبت نمی‌یابد و به تقلیل گستره تاریخی و اجتماعی هویت مشهد می‌انجامد. در مورد شهری چون قم انتخاب روز ورود حضرت معصومه را به عنوان روز ملی این شهر انتخاب درستی باید دانست؛ چرا که برای این شهر مذهبی تقریبا همه تاریخ و هویت شهر در آرامگاه آن حضرت خلاصه می شود لکن در مورد مشهد با آنکه طبعا بیشترین سهم هویت شهر مربوط به امام هشتم شیعیان است، اما هویت گسترده و جامع تاریخی و اجتماعی و فرهنگی این شهر وجوه گوناگونی دارد که بدیهی است هیچ یک در تناقض با دیگری نیست. فی المثل وجه بارز هویت ملی و فرهنگی مشهد برخی را بر آن داشت که مثلا روزی مرتبط با فردوسی یا بهار را به عنوان روز ملی مشهد مناسب بدانند.

روز ملی در مورد هر شهر چنانکه از نام آن برمی‌آید، بیش از هر چیز وجه شاخص ملی آن را می‌نمایاند. شهر اصلی و کانون تصمیم گیری‌ها و سیاستگزاری‌ها در هر کشور که در مورد برخی کشورهای جهان همنام خود آن کشور است، مرکز یا پایتخت است. در ادبیات سیاسی و دیگر گزارش‌ها و محاورات گاه به جای نام هر کشور نام مرکز آن کشور ذکر می شود. بی مناسبت نیست که این مرکزیت در فارسی پایتخت و در عربی عاصمه و در انگلیسی کاپیتال خوانده می‌شود که به معنای بزرگ است و هر مفهوم بزرگ دیگری از جمله حرف بزرگ در الفبا و نیز سرمایه را با همین عنوان می خوانند. در هر کشور افزون بر پایتخت فعلی، مراکز یا پایتخت‌های پیشین از جایگاه و موقعیت ویژه‌ای برخوردارند و گزینش آنها در هر زمان در مقام پایتخت، حتی پس از تغییر مرکزیت کشور، اعتبار و جایگاهی همیشگی به آنها می‎بخشد.

انتخاب روز پایتخت شدن تهران به عنوان روز ملی تهران، انتخابی طبیعی و مناسب بود. در مورد برخی دیگر از شهرهای کشور که روزی به نام روز ملی برای آنها ثبت شده است، شاید هوشمندانه ترین انتخاب، گزینش سالروز پایتخت شدن قزوین در عصر صفوی به عنوان روز ملی این شهر بود.

شهر بزرگ و فخرآور مشهد در مقام گرانیگاه هویت ملی و مذهبی ایرانیان و مهد فرهنگ و هنر و مدنیت و یکی از کانونهای اصلی قلمرو زبان و ادب فارسی، این افتخار را داشت که زمانی پایتخت ایران باشد و مرکز امپراتوری بزرگی شود که نادرشاه افشار بر ویرانه های ایران در حال زوال و پراکندگی بنا ساخت.

مشهد پس از ادوار تیموری و صفوی بیشترین عمران و توسعه را، از جمله در خصوص حرم و ابنیه رضوی – در دوران نادر به خود دید و برای نخستین و واپسین بار، در آن عصر پایتخت ایران شد. عصر نادری پایان دوره ای از تعصب و تفرق مذهبی و آغاز وحدتی دینی در میان ایرانیان بود که شهری همچون مشهد امروزه با جایگاه ملی و فراملی خود نیازمند آن است. تاریخ تحولات مشهد و رویدادهای گاه روزانه مرتبط با این شهر در سده های اخیر، در منابع معتبر ثبت شده است.

سالروز استقرار تنها دولتی در ایران که مشهد را به پایتختی برگزید و از این شهر مقدس بر امپراتوری ایران حکم می راند، شاید مفهوم روز ملی را برای این شهر بیش از هر نام دیگری عینیت بخشد. چنانکه می دانیم نادر پیش از آنکه رسما به سلطنت رسد، در دوران آخرین پادشاه صفوی عملا قدرت سیاسی و اداره کشور را به دست داشت و پس از کسب سلطنت نیز درگیر جنگهایی در داخل و خارج ایران بود و سرانجام در اواخر شوال 1153 قمری به مشهد بازگشت و به عمران و آبادانی این شهر و از جمله ابنیه رضوی پرداخت. این تاریخ مقارن با اواخر دی ماه 1119 هجری خورشیدی بود. از این رو به نظر می رسد برگزیدن یکی از روزهای اواخر این ماه به عنوان روز ملی مشهد شایسته ترین انتخاب برای چنین روزی باشد.
