«تئاتر ابسورد»

آیا تاکنون به اجرای یک تئاتر مدرن در یک زندان عادی فکر کرده‌اید؟ آن هم یکی از نمایش‌های بکت، سرشار از بی‌معنایی و اضطراب و سردرگمی!

مارتین اسلین در کتاب «تئاتر ابسورد» از جمله از تجربه موفق «هربرت بلاو» در به روی صحنه بردن «در انتظار گودو» نوشته‌ ساموئل بكت سخن می‌گوید.

در 19 نوامبر 1957 بازيگران عضو كارگاه بازيگري سان فرانسيسكو در برابر تماشاگران که از چهارصد تن زنداني زندان سن‌كوئنتين تشكيل شده بودند، این تئاتر را اجرا کردند و البته با استقبال بی نظیر و برداشت‌های نو و جالب تماشاگران روبرو شدند.

مارتین اسلین در کتاب «تئاتر ابسورد» از تئاتری می‌نویسد که به هيچ‌وجه دغدغه‌ صرفاً  جمع محدودي از روشنفكران نيست و مي‌تواند زباني تازه، ايده‌هايي تازه، رهيافت‌هايي تازه و فلسفه‌اي پرشور و تازه پدید آورد تا، در آينده‌اي نه چندان دور، شيوه‌هاي تفكر و احساس عامه‌ي مردم را تغيير دهد.

در گام نخست اسلین به بررسی دقیق زندگی و آثار ساموئل بكت، اوژن يونسكو، آرتور آداموف، ژان ژنه و هارولد پينتر می‌پردازد و سپس آثار همفکران و نوآمدگان این رهیافت نوین، یعنی  ژان تارديو، بوريس ويان، دينو بوتزاتي، اِتزيو دِريكو، مانوئل دو پِدرولو، فرناندو آرابال، ماكس فريش، ولفگانگ لدس‌هايمر، گونتر گراس، روبر پنژه، نورمن فردريك سيمپسون، ادوارد آلبي، جك گلبر و آرتور ال. كاپيت را در فصلی دیگر مطالعه می‌کند.

فصلی مستقل هم به تئاتر ابسورد در اروپاي شرقي و آثار اسلاومير مروژك، تادئوش روزِويچ و واسلاو هاول اختصاص یافته است که در آن امکانات عالی و روح حماسی تئاتر ابسورد در بیان اعتراضات انسانی به شیوایی توصیف شده است. در ادامه هم خوانندگان فصل‌های «سنت ابسورد»، «اهميت امر عبث» و «فراسوي ابسورد» را می‌خوانند.

به عقیده اسلین تئاتر ابسورد، مانند تراژدي‌هاي يونان باستان و نمايش‌هاي قرون وسطا و تمثيل‌هاي باروك، مي‌خواهد انسان را از موقعيت اسرارآميز و پرمخاطره‌اش در عالم آگاه كند. تفاوت فقط در اين است كه در تراژدي‌هاي يونان باستان ــ و در كمدي‌هايشان ــ و در نمايش‌هاي قرون وسطا و در نمايش‌هاي باروك، واقعيت‌هاي غايي مسلم فرض می‌شد و نظام‌هاي متافيزيكي قبول عام يافته بودند، ولي تئاتر ابسورد از غياب تمام اين ارزش‌هاي كيهاني و جهان‌شمول سخن مي‌گويد.

از اين‌رو تئاتر ابسورد مي‌تواند، با اضطراب يا ريشخند، شهود فردي از افراد بشر را، نسبت به واقعيت‌هاي غايي كه تجربه‌شان مي‌كند، نشان دهد، شهودي كه نتيجه‌ فرورفتن آدمي در اعماق شخصيت و رؤياها و خيالات و كابوس‌هايش است.

اسلین بر این باور است که تئاتر ابسورد خودماني‌ترين و شخصي‌ترين شهودهاي يك شاعر را از موقعيت بشر و معناي وجودي خودش و جهان‌بيني فردي‌اش بيان مي‌كند.

تئاتر ابسورد این تلاش شاعرانه را با تصويرپردازي عيني صحنه به انجام مي‌رساند .تلاشی که به عقیده اسلین می‌تواند با كنار گذاشتن منطق، تفكر استدلالي و زبان و با تکیه بر امکانات خود موفق‌تر از شعر ناب عمل کند. اما این تصاوير شاعرانه، همراه تفكر مفهومي، اعتبار خود را دارد و البته تاكيد صريح بر كاركردها و امكانات هريك از اين دو نوع تفكر، معادل بازگشت به عقل‌ستيزي نيست. برعكس، گشايش راهي‌ست به سوي نگره‌اي واقعاً عقلاني…
