افزایش 13درصدی تولید پنب

مسئول تولیدات گیاهی اداره جهاد کشاورزی گناباد گفت: میزان برداشت پنبه از ابتدای امسال تاکنون در این شهرستان با 13 درصد افزایش نسبت به سال قبل از 660 به 750 تن رسیده است.

حسین زارع حسینی روز یکشنبه افزود: همچنین میزان سطح زیرکشت پنبه در گناباد امسال با 40 درصد افزایش نسبت به پارسال به 340 هکتار افزایش یافت.

وی ادامه داد: این درحالی است که ظرف از 10 سال اخیر بخاطر تداوم پدیده خشکسالی و افزایش شوری آب، سطح زیر کشت پنبه کاهش داشت و از هزار و 600 هکتار به 340 هکتار رسیده ولی در یک سال اخیر دوباره این سطح رو به افزایش رفته است.

او گفت: پنبه یکی از محصولات راهبردی کشاورزی در این منطقه است لذا توسعه صنایع تبدیلی آن اشتغال خوبی به همراه دارد ولی به دلیل خشکسالی چند سال اخیر پنبه کاران گنابادی به کشت سایر محصولات زراعی و باغی از جمله پسته گرایش پیدا کرده‌اند.

وی افزود: با هدف اصلاح گونه‌ها، استفاده از ارقام سازگار و پر بازده پنبه امسال پنج رقم پنبه جدید در سطح هزار و 500 مترمربع به صورت آزمایشی در گناباد کشت شد و مقایسه‌های تکمیلی آن در حال انجام است.

او میانگین برداشت پنبه از هر هکتار را 2.2 تا 2.5 تن ذکر و ابراز امیدواری کرد با اصلاح ارقام قدیم و کاشت گونه‌های جدید سازگار با خاک و آب گناباد این میزان افزایش یابد.
