این نماینده مجلس همچنین بیان کرد: ایران کشوری است که در خاورمیانه مستقل بوده، به خاک کسی تجاوز نکرده و قدرت دفاعی خود را براساس کنوانسیونهای بین المللی افزایش میدهد و اساسیترین چالشی هم که با آمریکا دارد سر مساله استقلال خودش است و این جزو اهداف انقلاب بوده که به عنوان کشور مستقل عمل کند.
این عضو هیئت رئیسه کمیسیون حقوقی و قضائی مجلس در ادامه اظهار داشت: بنابراین آنچه را که ترامپ بیان میکند نشان دهنده ضعف شدید مدیریت در کاخ سفید و در تصمیم گیری ها و تصمیم سازیهای ایالات متحده است، در ثانی نشان دهنده نفوذ بسیار بالای لابی یهود و صهیونیستها بر تصمیم گیران در آمریکا است.
