برخلاف نیازهای جسمی، نیازهای روحی و احساسی كودك ممكن است مشخص نباشد و به همین دلیل نادیده گرفته شود اما این نیازها به اندازه نیازهای جسمی مهم هستند. برآورده شدن نیازهای روحی كودك و در یك كلام سلامت روانی آنها باعث میشود بچهها خوب تفكر كنند، پیشرفت اجتماعی داشته و مهارتهای جدید را بخوبی بیاموزند.
علاوه بر این، دوستان خوب و كلمات تشویق آمیز از جانب بزرگسالان همه برای كمك به پیشبرد اعتمادبهنفس و ایجاد عزت نفس مهم بوده و نگرش او را نسبت به زندگی بهبود میبخشد.
نقش بی بدیل خانواده در سلامت روانی کودک
خانواده نقش اساسی در حفظ سلامت روانی كودكان دارد. در جریان رشد طبیعی هر كودك یك رشته تغییرات شناختی، عاطفی و اجتماعی را شاهد هستیم. كودك باید در محیط خانه تا حدی آزادی عمل داشته باشد و اگر كودك مدام توسط والدین محدود شود، در مدرسه اقدام به زورگویی میکند.
احترام گذاشتن والدین به كودكان، افزایش حس اعتماد به نفس و عزت نفس كودك و پرهیز از نامگذاریهای خشن و نادرست روی كودك از مهمترین عوامل پیشگیری از زورگویی كودك در مدرسه است.
به گفته روانشناسان کودک” تربیتی كه آزادی را به كلی در كودك نادیده بگیرد و انتخاب و میل قلبی را از وی سلب كند و تنها مبتنی بر ترس و آداب خشك و بیروح ظاهری باشد، نهتنها دوام نمییابد بلكه در نهایت به ركود وعصیان كودك میانجامد”
كودكان و نوجوانان در حال حاضر در معرض رسانههای مختلفی مانند اینترنت و رایانه قرار دارند. اگر خانوادهها نتوانند به مقدار كافی روی آنها تاثیر بگذارند، كودكان و نوجوانان از اثرات منفی این وسایل جمعی در امان نیستند، بنابراین لازم است خانوادهها در تربیت صحیح فرزندان خود بكوشند.
حرکت خانوادهها به سمت مدرنیته
امروزه خانوادهها از حالت سنتی خود خارج و به خانوادههای مدرن تبدیل شدهاند. این موضوع باعث شده تا نحوه تربیت فرزندان با گذشته تفاوتهایی پیدا كند. علاوه بر آن با كاهش تعداد بچهها، فرزند سالاری در خانوادهها پدید آمده كه همین امر موجب بروز مشكلات رفتاری در آنان شده است.
رعایت اصل زمان در کامیابی کودکان
پذیرش پیدرپی خواستههای فرزندان باعث میشود آنان دچار حالت عدم تحمل ناكامی شوند. این در حالی است كه آنان باید بیاموزند برای مدت زمانی رسیدن به خواستههای خود را به تعویق بیندازد. اگر خانواده این اصل را رعایت نكند، كودك در ورود به اجتماع دچار سرخوردگی میشود چون او عادت كرده سریع به خواستههای خود دست یابد و در كانون توجه باشد.
از سوی دیگر از این بچهها در خانواده در قبال خدماتی كه به آنها داده میشود، مسوولیت خواسته نمیشود، در نتیجه آنان مشكلات رفتاری پیدا میكنند و مضطرب میشوند.
” تقریبا همه كودكان در طول رشد و در جریان سازگاری با این تغییرات دچار مشكلاتی میشوند و استرس و تعارضی كه به آن ایجاد میشوند ممكن است به مشكلات رفتاری، عاطفی و یادگیری در آنها بینجامد.”
دکتر طاهره جعفری جامعهشناس و متخصص مهارتهای دورهای زندگی در این بتره به خبرنگار صبح امروز میگوید:
پیریزی پایههای رشد اجتماعی در سالهای اولیه
پایههای رشد روانی- اجتماعی کودکان، احساس ایمنی و ارضای عاطفی آنان در سالهای اولیه کودکی پیریزی میشود، زیرا تفاهم، سازگاری و محبت موجود در محیط خانواده، در تقویت حس اعتمادبهنفس و پرورش نیروی سازنده در کودکان و نوجوانان بسیار حایز اهمیت است.
در یک خانواده عادی، والدین ضمن همبستگی و احترام متقابل نسبت به یکدیگر در برخورد با فرزندان، روش هماهنگ و یکسان را در پیش میگیرند و در نتیجه، فرزندان احساس میکنند که رابطه والدین، صمیمی است، زیرا کودک و نوجوان باید والدین خود را منبع شادی، امنیت عاطفی، ارضای خاطر جسمی و روانی دانسته و آنان را پناهگاه خویش بدانند.
کمبود عاطفی در بزرگسالی
بیتوجهی والدین به سالمسازی محیط روانی- اجتماعی و فقدان روابط مناسب در بیشتر موارد، کودکان و نوجوانان را با کمبودهای عاطفی مواجه میسازد. لذا ریشه رفتارهای نابهنجار کودکان و نوجوانان، انحرافات و بزهکاریها را باید در سنین اولیه کودکی و در خانواده جستوجو کرد، به همین دلیل برای شناخت علت ناسازگاریهای کودکان و نوجوانان و پیدایش اختلالهای رفتاری، بیش از هرچیز آگاهی از وضعیت خانواده آنان ضرورت دارد.
بهطورکلی اصولی که باید پدر و مادر، بهعنوان والدین کودک و نوجوان، همیشه در نظر داشتهباشند، عبارتند از:
هماهنگی در انضباط و تربیت کودکان و نوجوانان، یگانگی در انتظار و توقع از آنان با توجه به تفاوتهای فردی و محدودیتهای موجود و جلوگیری از وقوع مسائلی که موجب ایجاد هیجان ناخوشایند در کودک و نوجوان میشود.
