۱۲مدال رکابزنان خراسانی در لیگ برتر
اولین مرحله لیگ دوچرخه سواری سرعت جوانان کشور با حضور پرتعداد و درخشش رکابزنان خراسان رضوی همراه بود.
در این دوره از رقابتها ۵ تیم متشکل از ۳۰ دوچرخه سوار از استان خراسان رضوی با رکابزنان سایر استانهای کشور رقابت کردند و تیم آسمان آبی الف و ب، تیم خیام نیشابور، تیم شهرداری طرقبه و تیم هیئت دوچرخه سواری نیشابور با اقتدار اولین مرحله مسابقات را پشت سر گذاشتند.
این دوره از رقابتها که با هدف پشتوانهسازی تیمهای بزرگسالان انجام میشود به گفته کارشناسان با رکوردها و نتایج خوبی هم همراه بود. با اینکه خراسانیها نتوانستند در این رقابتها در بخش تیمی نتیجهای قابل توجه کسب کنند اما در بخش انفردی رکابزنان استان با کسب ۱۲ مدال توانستند عملکرد خوبی را از خود به نمایش بگذارند.
در این مسابقات تیمهای آسمان آبی الف و ب با یک طلا و سه نقره، خیام نیشابور با یک طلا و یک برنز، هیئت نیشابور با ۳ نقره و یک برنز، شهرداری طرقبه با یک طلا و دو نقره به کار خود در این رقابتها پایان دادند. حضور پرتعداد خراسانیها در این دوره از رقابتها با اینکه سبب شد در بخش تیمی با توجه به پخش شدن بازیکنان در ۵ تیم نتیجهای کسب نکنند اما به نوعی یک رکورد جدید برای دوچرخه سواری استان محسوب میشد.
