به گزارش ایسنا، بتول گندمی در نشست هیات‌های وزنه برداری منطقه یک کشور اظهار کرد: یکی از مولفه‌هایی که شورای پنجم به مردم وعده کرده، نشاط اجتماعی است و یکی از متغیرهای نشاط اجتماعی، ورزش است. اگر بتوانیم در این بخش پتانسیل های عظیم مشهد که در حوزه جوانان، دختران و پسران وجود دارد را فعال کنیم، می توانیم بگوییم در بخشی از نشاط اجتماعی موفق شده ایم.
وی خاطر نشان کرد: قطعا در کنار تمام رشته های ورزشی شهر و حتی استان با هر آنچه در توان داریم، حضور خواهیم‌داشت. این تلاش از اول شهریور ماه سال گذشته که مسئولیت پذیرفته ایم شروع کرده ایم، گرچه حوزه ورزش متفاوت است و در این بخش نبوده‌ایم، اما سعی کرده ایم در کنار صبوریان و روسای هیات‌ها هر چه در توان مجموعه شهرداری و پشتیبانی حوزه شورا شهر وجود دارد به کار ببریم و حمایت کنیم.
عضو شورای شهر بیان کرد: وزنه برداری در حوزه بانوان عمری کوتاه و یک‌ساله دارد اما همینکه دختران وزنه‌بردار خراسانی موفق شدند در رقابت‌های کشوری به عناوین برتر دست یابند، سبب شد تا در این جلسه بیایم و از وزنه‌برداران بانوی خراسانی تشکر داشته‌باشم.
گندمی عنوان کرد: در راستای حمایت از ورزش در خراسان، از طرف شهرداری و شورای شهر، به مدیرکل ورزش و جوانان و رییس هیات کشتی استان نیز اعلام کردیم در صورت میزبانی از مسابقات جهانی کشتی، آماده حمایت هستیم که خوشبختانه این مهم صورت گرفت.
وی ادامه داد: مراکز استان و کلان‌شهرهایی مثل مشهد به تنهایی با صرف حضور اداره کل ورزش و جوانان و هیات ورزشی، توان پیشبرد اهداف ورزشی، به ویژه در بخش زیرساخت را ندارند. سعی ما این است تا با حضور در کنار متولیان ورزشی بتوانیم به بهترین شکل ممکن در راستای نشاط اجتماعی گام برداریم.
