وی اضافه می‌کند: این شیرینی محبوب امروزه بیشتر از قبل در سبد کالایی مصرفی مردم قرار گرفته است. در گذشته بیشتر به جهت سوغات از قم به شهرهای دیگر تهیه می‌شد اما اکنون در سراسر کشور و در سوپرمارکت ها و قنادی ها با کیفیت های مختلف در دسترس می باشد.علاوه بر آن سوهان به‌ دلیل خوشمزه بودن و ارزش غذایی خیلی خوب، به عنوان کادویی و مناسبت های مختلف مثل سرسلامتی دادن، بازدید خانه نویی و … به جای شکلات و شیرینی نیز استفاده می‌شود، این استقبال نشان می‌دهد که سوهان به‌عنوان محصولی دارای کیفیت و ارزش غذایی بالا و طعم خوب بین مردم جا افتاده است و روز به روز نرخ مصرف سوهان افزایش پیدا می‌کند. وی همچنین در ارتباط با تهیه این شیرینی پرطرفدار و محبوب در منزل اشاره کرد: سوهان در شرایط خیلی خاصی درست می شود و این شرایط در منزل فراهم نیست مثلا ما با مشته آهنی سوهان را می کوبیم و روی کنده سنگی می گذاریم و بعد با دستگاه مخصوص آن را تولید می‌کنیم و این پروسه ۷ الی ۸ ساعت زمان می برد. در منزل نیز، نه مانند سوهان اصیل ولی شبیه به آن را می‌شود درست کرد که آموزش تک تک مراحل را در پیج اینستاگرام مجموعه سوهان مهدی برای سهولت کار عزیزان قرار دادیم.

وی در خصوص شرایط نگهداری سوهان اظهار کرد: سوهان محصولی است که به رطوبت، هوا، آب، گرما و نور حساس است یعنی باید درجای خشک، خنک، سرد و دور از نور خورشید یا لامپ نگهداری شود زیرا در سوهان موادی مثل زرده تخم مرغ،کره، روغن مایع یا روغن زرد گاوی و گوسفندی وجود دارد و اگر در معرض نور و گرما و … باشد کیفیت سوهان پایین می آید و تقریباً غیر قابل استفاده می شود.

همچنین وی افزود: زیاده روی در مصرف سوهان مانند هرنوع شیرینی دیگر ممکن است برای بدن به خصوص دندان ها ضرر داشته باشد و چه بهترکه در مصرف آن اعتدال رعایت شود. البته باید در مصرف هر مواد غذایی، حتی مواد غذایی مفید مثل عسل نیز باید میانه روی و اعتدال رعایت شود تا بدنی سالم و قوی داشته باشیم
