آب شرب 23 روستای قوچان که شامل 18 روستای تحت پوشش و 5 روستای غیر تحت پوشش است با تانکر سیار تامین می گردد.
به گزارش روابط عمومی شرکت آب و فاضلاب روستایی خراسان رضوی، سرپرست امور آبفار قوچان بیان کرد: در پی خشکسالی ها و کاهش بارش نزولات آسمانی سالهای اخیر و استفاده نادرست از منابع آبی و همچنین مصارف بی رویه بخصوص در بخش کشاورزی، هر ساله تعداد روستاهای دچار بحران کم آبی افزایش می یابد که علیرغم تمام تلاشها و تمهیدات شرکت آب و فاضلاب روستایی در جهت تامین آب و ترویج فرهنگ استفاده درست از آب شرب در بین روستاییان کماکان معضل کمبود آب گریبان گیر 23 روستا در این شهرستان گردیده است.
هادی بهمنیار در ادامه گفت: در سه ماه اول سال 98 بالغ بر 233 سرویس به میزان 2796 مترمکعب برای 14981 نفر جمعیت در قالب 4592 خانوار آبرسانی بصورت مستمر و جبرانی انجام گرفته است.
