معاون توانبخشی بهزیستی خراسان رضوی گفت: قهرمان شدن به افراد کمتوان عزت نفس میدهد.
مسعود فیروزی شامگاه گذشته 14 اردیبهشت ماه در افتتاح دفتر مراکز خراسان رضوی المپیک ویژه ایران که در آسایشگاه شهید بهشتی مشهد برگزار شد، اظهار کرد: قهرمانی در ورزش آثار فردی و اجتماعی بسیاری برای افراد کمتوان دارد که یکی از آنها بحث عزت نفس است که از ملزومات توانبخشی است و مادامی که اعتماد به نفس در افراد کمتوان شکل نگیرد فعالیتهای توانبخشی بیاثر هستند.
وی عنوان کرد: پروفسور گاتمن در سال 1976 بحث ورزش و توانبخشی ورزشی را مطرح کرد و مهمترین هدفش بیرون آوردن افراد کمتوان از خانواده و ورود آنها به اجتماع و تاثیرگذاری بر جامعه بود و امروز این بحث در سطح جهان بسیار گسترش یافته و کشور ما نسبت به جهان وضعیت بسیار مطلوبی دارد و اتفاقات خوبی در این زمینه افتاده است.
فیروزی خاطرنشان کرد: در مورد افراد کمتوان به دو مقوله توجه ویژه میشود اول هنر و دوم ورزش که از هر دو این مقولهها برای ورود افراد کمتوان به جامعه استفاده میشود.
وی افزود: محوریت ورزش در سازمان بهزیستی یک نگاه تخصصگرایانه به مقوله ورزش است و به آن به عنوان حلقهای از زنجیره توانبخشی نگاه میشود، به ورزش برای ایجاد یک تریبون رسمی و پر قدرت برای افراد کمتوان که به صورت موثر حرف خود را بزنند نگاه میشود.
