سید حسن رسولی، استاندار اسبق خراسان و منتخب مردم تهران در شورای شهر و عضو هیات مدیره بنیاد باران و بنیاد امید ایرانیان در نامه‌ای به حسن روحانی بر ضرورت حفظ و نگهداری سرمایه اجتماعی ایجاد شده از انتخابات خرداد 92 تاکید کرد و گفت: فضای نیمه بسته دانشگاه‌ها، کمبود زنان و جوانان در ساختار دولت زیبنده دولت دوم شما نیست.
متن این نامه به شرح زیر است:
جناب آقای دکتر روحانی رییس جمهور محترم
رای اعتماد دوباره و بیش از گذشته مردم فهیم ایران را به جنابعالی و جامعه اصلاح طلب و اعتدالی کشورمان تبریک عرض می کنم
مواضع و عملکرد قابل دفاع آن جناب در دوره اول از یکسو وفای به عهد اصلاح طلبان با شما در راستای ایفای نقش تاریخی این جریان مبنی بر ترجیح منافع ملی بر خواسته‌های جریانی خود از سوی دیگر موجب شد شورای عالی سیاستگذاری اصلاح طلبان در گام سوم در اقدامی قاطع و صادقانه حمایت و پشتیبانی صادقان از تداوم ریاست بر قوه مجریه تان را به عنوان مهمترین مرجع تشکیلاتی این جریان در بهترین زمان ممکن تصویب و به مرحله اجرا بگذارد.
اعضاء حقوقی و حقیقی این شورا بویژه سیاستمدار راستگو و اخلاق گرای این مجموعه(آقای دکتر عارف )انصافا به همراه سید محبوب قاطبه ملت خاتمی بزرگ در انسجام بخشی نیروها و مجاب کنندگی مردم در کنار ستاد توانمند انتخاباتی جنابعالی به ریاست آقای شریعتمداری به خوبی توانستند شما را در تجهیز مناسب سازمان رایو نمایش قدرت سیاسی ائتلاف یاری رسانند.
