وابستگی صنعت گردشگری مشهد به گردشگران کشورهای عربی موجب شد در پی ایجاد تنش سیاسی میان ایران و عربستان در سال 1394 و ریزش گردشگران عرب، صنعت گردشگری مشهد دچار خسارت جدی شود که این امر ضرورت ایجاد تنوع در جذب و ورود گردشگران خارجی به این کلانشهر را جدی‌تر کرد.ضرورتی که باید در راستای آن نسبت به برنامه ریزی، سیاست گذاری، معرفی جاذبه ها و جذب گردشگران خارجی حتی از کشورهای غیرمسلمان و در عرصه های دیگر از قبیل گردشگری طبیعی، فرهنگی، تاریخی، غذایی و امثال آن با جدیت تلاش کرد.دبیر فدراسیون جهانی راهنمایان گردشگری دراین باره می‌گوید: علاقه‌مندان به امام رضا(ع) و گردشگران زیارتی در جای خود قابل احترام هستند و حتما هم باید باشد، اما نادیده گرفتن بقیه فرصت‌ها در این شهر درست نیست، داشتن فردوسی و میراث فرهنگی و ادبی خراسان، میراث طبیعی آن و در کل نام خراسان آنقدر بزرگ است که شما می‌توانید در مورد آن بسیار صحبت و تولید محتوا کنید.عضو هیأت مدیره فدراسیون جهانی راهنمایان گردشگری، تصریح می کند: خراسان رضوی در نیمه راه جاده ابریشم قرار دارد که این فرصتی بسیار استثنایی برای خراسانی‌ها در جهت جذب گردشگر محسوب می‌شود و باید از این فرصت به خوبی استفاده شود.

آرش نورآقایی در گفت‌وگو با ایسنا می گوید: مشهد و اساسا خراسان رضوی با تکیه بر خراسان بزرگ می‌تواند اتفاقات بزرگی را رقم بزند، برای بهبود شرایط باید گفتمانی یکسان و اتاق فکری شکل گیرد، اکنون وضعیت سیاسی کشور در وضع گردشگری بی‌تاثیر نیست و شرایط ارتباط با برخی از کشورهای همسایه دچار چالش شده؛ در حالی که سیاست جذب گردشگر ورودی در مشهد بر اساس ورود شیعیان و کشورهای همسایه پایه‌ریزی شده است.

معاون گردشگری اداره کل میراث فرهنگی، گردشگری و صنایع دستی خراسان رضوی در این باره به صبح امروز می گوید: کشورهای افغانستان، عراق، آذربایجان، عمان، کویت، امارات پاکستان و هندوستان بازارهای هدف جذب گردشگر برای این استان است.
محورهای اصلی جذب گردشگر خارجی
یوسف بیدخوری می افزاید: محوری های اصلی جذب گردشگران خارجی برای خراسان رضوی شامل گردشگری زیارتی، سلامت، تجاری و دیدار اقوام و فامیل است.معاون گردشگری اداره کل میراث فرهنگی، گردشگری و صنایع دستی خراسان رضوی با بیان این که اداره کل خراسان رضوی از فعالان بخش خصوصی برای جذب گردشگری همه جانبه حمایت می کند ، ادامه می دهد: تمرکز فعالیت ها بر ملاقات با سفیران کشورهای خارجی در ایران و کنسول کشورهای خارجی در مشهد، مذاکراه برای توسعه مناسبات گردشگری و اقتصادی و تسهیل رفت و آمد اتباع خارجی به خراسان رضوی و هم چنین مسافران اتباع ایرانی به کشورهای هدف بوده است.
ملاقات با سفیران کشورها برای جذب گردشگر
بیدخوری می گوید: علاوه بر ملاقات با سفرای کشورهای اوکراین، قرقیزستان، قزاقستان، ترکیه، افغانستان و پاکستان در ایران در ۶ ماه اول امسال، ملاقات هایی نیز با سفرای ایران در کشورهای گرجستان، ترکیه، آلمان و هندوستان در زمینه جذب گردشگران خارجی به مشهد و خراسان رضوی برگزار شده است.
معاون گردشگری اداره کل میراث فرهنگی، گردشگری و صنایع دستی خراسان رضوی ادامه می دهد: چند ماه قبل نیز هم زمان با کنفرانس ملی اکوتوریسم در مشهد تور سه روزه آشناسازی با خراسان رضوی برای ۳۰ نفز از سفرا و نمایندگان ایران در کشورهای خارجی برگزار شد که در این برنامه جاذبه های شاخص استان از جمله مشهد و نیشابور، بینالود و توس معرفی شد.
برقراری پرواز با کشورهای خارجی
بیدخوری راه اندازی قطار مشهد – کربلا، برقراری پرواز مشهد – دوشنبه تاجیکستان،، مشهد- آذربایجان، پیش بینی پروازهای مشهد به حیدرآباد، هند و آنکارا را از دیگر اقدامات شاخص حوزه گردشگری این استان برای توسعه گردشگری و جذب بیشتر زائران از کشورهای هدف اعلام کرد.
تنوع جذب گردشگر ضرورتی انکار ناپذیر هم چنین مدیرکل میراث فرهنگی، صنایع دستی و گردشگری خراسان رضوی در این زمینه می گوید: با توجه به ضرورت ایجاد تنوع در جذب گردشگران، برنامه ریزی و رایزنی با کشورهای مختلف در این راستا در حال پیگیری است.وی با بیان اینکه هم اکنون در مشهد میزبان گردشگران خارجی از 20 ملیت مختلف هستیم می افزاید: رایزنی برای جذب گردشگر از کشورهای پاکستان، هندوستان، ترکیه، آذربایجان، ترکمنستان و دیگر کشورها در حال انجام و پیگیری است.وی اظهار می کند: ضعف اصلی در جذب گردشگران دیگر کشورها، اطلاع رسانی ناکافی و کمرنگ از جاذبه های مختلف موجود در مشهد است که باید این ضعف برطرف شود.مکرمی فر ادامه می دهد: هم چنین در استان بیش از1560 اثر تاریخی در فهرست میراث ملی به ثبت رسیده و بیش از 2 هزار اثر دیگر نیز شناسایی شده است که در دستور کار ثبت قرار دارد که این آثار تاریخی نیز می تواند مقصد گردشگران در شهرستان های خراسان رضوی باشد.او به میراث جهانی خراسان رضوی اشاره می کند و یادآورمی شود: قنات قصبه گناباد یکی از آثار تاریخی جذاب برای گردشگران در خراسان رضوی در فهرست جهانی به ثبت رسیده و آسبادهای نشتیفان نیز در فهرست موقت جهانی به ثبت رسیده است.مکرمی فر با اشاره به جاذبه های خاص و ویژه ای استان از جمله گوهرسنگ هایی مانند فیروزه و عقیق می گوید: مشهد از سال 2017 از سوی شورای جهانی صنایع دستی به عنوان شهرجهانی گوهرسنگ های انتخاب شده و فیروزه نیشابور و عقیق خراسان از برندهای گوهرسنگ های خراسان محسوب می شوند.
مکرمی فر به ظرفیت های گردشگری مفاخر خراسان رضوی اشاره و تاکید می کند: مفاخری مانند فردوسی، عطار، خیام، حافظ ابرو و… در کنار ظرفیت ویژه موسیقی مقامی و دوتارنوازی خراسان، ظرفیت بالایی در پرکردن برنامه های سفر گردشگران خارجی دارد.
مدیرکل میراث فرهنگی، صنایع دستی و گردشگری خراسان رضوی گردشگری سلامت را از دیگر ظرفیت های مشهد عنوان می کند و می گوید: زیرساخت های لازم برای جذب گردشگرسلامت مهیا شده و سال گذشته بیش از 100 هزار گردشگر خراجی سرپایی درمان و 20 هزار نفر مورد عمل جراحی قرار گرفته اند.وی تصریح می کند: شرکت های گردشگری سلامت علاوه بر درمان برنامه های تفریحی و زیارتی نیز دارند که به صورت بسته سفر به گردشگران خراجی ارائه می شود.
