باغ وحش مشهد برای اصلاحات تا پایان آذر ماه مهلت دارد:

مدیرکل حفاظت محیط زیست خراسان رضوی گفت: آخرین مهلت انجام اصلاحات و رفع سوء مدیریت در باغ وحش مشهد ۳۰ آذر ماه است و پس از پایان این مهلت در صورت انجام نشدن اصلاحات این مجموعه تعطیل خواهد شد.
به گزارش صبح امروز به نقل از ایرنا تورج همتی روزگذشته با بیان این مطلب افزود: تعطیلی باغ وحش مشهد در صورت عدم اجرای دستورالعمل زیست محیطی در ابتدای زمستان امسال انجام می‌شود.
وی ادامه داد: همچنان اجرای دستورالعمل‌ها و آیین‌نامه های زیست محیطی از جمله معرفی مدیر داخلی ذی‌صلاح در باغ‌وحش مشهد با مشکل رو به روست.
مدیرکل حفاظت محیط زیست خراسان رضوی گفت: آخرین تذکرات برای رفع سوء مدیریت‌ها به باغ وحش مشهد اعلام شده و بدون هیچ تردیدی اصلاح ساختار و وضع موجود در این مجموعه برای جلوگیری از تکرار اتفاقاتی که موجب تشویش اذهان عمومی می‌شود به عنوان اولویت در حال پیگیری است.
همتی افزود: به اندازه لازم و مورد نیاز زمان برای اصلاح معضلات و مشکلات باغ وحش مشهد به مدیران این مجموعه داده شده‌است و حتما باید یک مدیر داخلی متخصص هدایت این مجموعه را بر عهده بگیرد.
وی ادامه داد: اگر بنا بود مشکلی در این مجموعه حل شود مشکلات اخیر از اساس شکل نمی‌گرفت.
مدیرکل حفاظت محیط زیست خراسان رضوی گفت: سوء مدیریت را مشکل اصلی در باغ وحش مشهد می‌دانیم و اگرچه اقدامات خوب و قابل توجهی هم در این مجموعه انجام شده است اما این به منزله حل شدن مشکلات دیگر این مجموعه نیست.
خرداد ماه امسال هفت توله ببر تازه متولد شده در باغ وحش مشهد تلف شدند که دامپزشک باغ وحش علت مرگ آنها را عفونت تنفسی و علت مرگ یک توله دیگر را حمله شدید مادر عنوان کرد.
کمیته حقیقت یاب مرگ هفت توله ببر نیز از ۲۷ مرداد ماه امسال تشکیل شده است.
باغ وحش مشهد سال ۱۳۳۹ در محدوده خواجه ربیع تاسیس و با ایجاد شرکت باغ وحش وکیل آباد در سال ۱۳۵۶ در ورودی پارک جنگلی وکیل آباد مستقر شد.
این مکان به عنوان بزرگترین باغ وحش ایران دارای بیشترین گونه‌های جانوری است که از آن جمله می‌توان به شیر، ببر، خرس، خوک، گراز، گربه وحشی، انواع پرندگان، چهار نوع گوزن، شامپانزه و جانداران دیگر اشاره کرد.
هم اکنون ۱۰۷ گونه شامل ۶۴ گونه بومی و ۴۳ گونه غیربومی و ۶۸۰ نمونه جانوری شامل ۲۴۰ پستاندار، ۳۹۳ پرنده و ۴۷ خزنده و دوزیست در باغ وحش مشهد نگهداری می شود.
