۱۴ مدال ارزشمند در مسابقات انتخابی تیم ملی تکواندو در بخش هان مادانگ با تلاش تکواندوکاران خراسان رضوی بدست آمد. در بخش آقایان این مسابقات در رشته پال کیوکپا استاد درحی به مدال برنز، در رشته جوموک استاد فتحی مدال نقره، در رشته نوپی چاگی استاد لایق مدال برنز و در بخش پومسه استاد هاشمی مدال برنز، دست یافتند.

در بخش بانوان، در رشته نوپی چاگی سه مدال برنز توسط خانم‌ها رادنیا، شیرازی و مختاری، در رشته سونال خانم محبت دار مدال برنز و در رشته شکستن از چند جهت مدال ارزشمند طلا توسط خانم اشرفی کسب شد. گفتنی است، در دو رشته پال کیوکپا و سونال خانم پروین دو مدال طلا و خانم زارعیان دو مدال نقره را توانستند از آن خود کنند. مقام سوم تیمی این مسابقات هم  آقایان سیارشهری، حاجی عباسی و پیوندی در بخش پومسه استاندارد به دست آوردند.
