محمد دانشور در سومین روز از مسابقات دوچرخه سواری پیست قهرمانی آسیا ۲۰۱۸ که در مالزی در حال برگزاری است، موفق شد در ماده یک کیلومتر تایم تریل انفرادی با ثبت زمان ۱ دقیقه و ۱ ثانیه و ۸۷۵هزارم مدال برنز را کسب کند.
او در مرحله مقدماتی با ثبت زمان یک دقیقه و یک ثانیه و ۹۹۰ هزارم ثانیه توانست رکورد ایران را که در اختیار خودش بود، یک ثانیه ارتقا دهد و به عنوان نفر اول به مرحله فینال صعود کند. دانشور در سالهای ۲۰۱۶ و ۲۰۱۷ قهرمان این ماده شده بود.
