مدیرعامل سازمان تاکسیرانی شهرداری مشهد مقدس گفت: مناسب‌سازی 10 دستگاه تاکسی ون برای معلولان و توان‌یابان از برنامه‌های مهم سازمان تاکسیرانی جهت استفاده این قشر از جامعه است.

سید مهدی علوی‌مقدم افزود: سازمان تاکسیرانی طرح مناسب‌سازی تاکسی‌ها را جهت استفاده معلولان و توان‌یابان به مدیریت پژوهش و مطالعات راهبردی ارائه کرد که پس از تصویب طرح و فرآیند قانونی، پیمانکار جهت مناسب‌سازی تاکسی ویژه معلولان انتخاب شد.

وی اظهار کرد: در فاز اول این پروژه با اعتباری معادل یک میلیارد و 300 میلیون ریال، 10 دستگاه ون مناسب‌سازی می‌شود که زیرنظر یکی از شرکت‌های بخش خصوصی به ارائه خدمات خواهند پرداخت.

علوی‌مقدم بیان کرد: با توجه به جلساتی که با انجمن توانان‌یابان، بهزیستی و کارشناسان این بخش برگزار شد، یکی از مشکلات مهم معلولان و توان‌یابان و بعضاً افراد کهن‌سال، حمل و نقل و استفاده از وسایل حمل و نقل عمومی برای این عزیزان و خانواده‌های آن‌ها بود که این مهم موردتوجه سازمان قرار گرفت.
