رئیس کمیته بین‌الملل کمیسیون حقوقی و قضایی مجلس گفت: به نظر می‌رسد ادامه رایزنی‌ها با طرف‌های اروپایی و افزایش مشارکت اقتصادی آن‌ها و همچنین اجماع داخلی نسبت به حوزه سیاست خارجی می‌تواند در مقابل اقدامات آمریکایی‌ها کمک کننده و موثر باشد.
جلیل رحیمی جهان‌آبادی در گفت‌وگویی با اشاره به بیانات مقام معظم رهبری در دیدار با نخبگان جوان، گفت: یکی از پیش‌بینی‌هایی که از اقدامات آمریکا در مورد برجام می‌شود این است که می‌خواهند بر فعالیت موشکی ایران فشار اعمال کنند تا بعضی از فعالیت‌های ایران در منطقه را در قالب یک پیمان الحاقی در برجام بگنجانند و به اصطلاح برجام را منوط به این قرارداد تکمیلی کنند.
وی افزود: موضوعات و مسائل داخلی ما مربوط به خودمان است و از اختیارات هر حاکمیتی است که بخواهد مسائل دفاعی خود را سامان دهد مگر اینکه خلاف کنوانسیون‌های بین‌المللی اقدام کند.
این عضو هیئت رئیسه کمیسیون حقوقی و قضایی مجلس همچنین بیان کرد: ایران نباید زیر بار پیشنهادات آمریکایی‌ها برود. ما کشوری هستیم که باید توانایی بازدارندگی نظامی در منطقه را داشته باشیم. اگر خواسته باشند در امور امنیتی و نظامی ما خللی ایجاد کنند، ممکن است امنیت و تمامیت ارضی ما به خطر افتد.
نماینده مردم تربت جام در مجلس تصریح کرد: هشدار رهبری دقیق است و دستگاه دیپلماسی ما باید حداکثر تلاش خود را انجام دهد تا در این دوره آن‌ها را وادار به نشستن پای میز مذاکره برای قرارداد تکمیلی کند.
