درخشش مشهدىها در شطرنج جام ملتهاى آسیا
مسابقات شطرنج جام ملتهاى آسیا از روز جمعه ۵مرداد به میزبانى همدان آغاز شده است و تا ۱۳مرداد ادامه خواهد داشت. این مسابقات در بخش سریع درحالى به پایان رسید که مسعود مصدقپور، شطرنج باز مشهدى، توانست در ترکیب تیم سبز ایران به همراه مقصودلو، ایدنى، طباطبایى و فیروزجا با کسب ۱۲امتیاز به مقام قهرمانى برسد.
این براى نخستین بار است که تیم ملى بزرگ سالان ایران موفق به کسب این عنوان در آسیا مىشــود. تیمهاى چین و هند نیز به ترتیب دوم و سوم شدند.
همچنین در بخش بانوان تیم سبز ایران درشرایطى که از میترا حجازىپور و وصال حامدى نیا در ترکیب خود بهره مىبرد، توانست با ۹امتیاز به مقام سومى این رقابتها دست یابد. چین و هند در این بخش به عناوین اول و دومى دست پیدا کردند.
۱۲تیم هند، چین، ویتنام، قزاقستان، ایران سبز، قرمز و سفید، بنگلادش، ازبکستان، عراق، لبنان و عمان در بخش آقایان و ۸تیم چین، هند، ایران سبز، قرمز و سفید، قزاقستان، ازبکستان و ویتنام در بخش رقابتهاى سریع بانوان شرکت کرده بودند.
این مسابقات در بخش استاندارد با حضور سه شطرنج باز مشهدى درحال برگزارى است و شطرنج بازان مشهدى در بخش استاندارد هم از بختهاى اصلى کسب مقام محسوب مىشوند.
