یک بذر در زمین می کاریم، صد چندان برمی داریم. این سنت خداوند است که یک جلوه کوچکش را در طبیعت و در خاک چنین بشکوه تجربه می کنیم. چنان هم به یقین رسیده ایم برای این مسئله که هیچ کس در ذهن هم نمی آورد که چرا باید بذر را در زمین و زیر خاک مدفون کرد. نمی گوید آن بذر گمُرد” و از بین رفت چون دیده است که به فصل موعود، آن بذر به بوته ای تبدیل می شود که صد چندان آنچه رفته است باز می آورد. حکایت خاک را وقتی کلان تر در نظر بگیریم، می شود دنیا. همان که در روایات دینی به ویژه در کلام صریح و صادق رسولِ مصدَق(ص) می فهمییم؛ الدنيا مَزرَعةُ الآخِرَةِ . دنیا کشتزاری است برای آخرت و قبل از آخرت محصولش را در همین زندگی هم می بینیم. کمک به دیگران و یاری مردمان، به کاشت در این مزرعه می توان تعبیر کرد. یک حسنه، بسان یک مشت آب با دست های ما از سوی خداوندگار به دریا اجابت می شود که حضرت او نه به کوچکی دستان ما بل به بزرگی کرم خویش می بخشد. امام رضا (ع) هم به مناسبت های مختلف از یاری  مردم و صدقه به نیکی یاد کرده و آن را بزرگ شمرده اند.  بزرگیی که باعث بزرگ شدن انسان می شود. حضرت ضمن اینکه نیکی کردن به دیگران را سبب افزایش عمر انسان دانسته اند، به ترتیب از پدران گرامی خود صلوات الله علیهم اجمعین نقل فرموده است: « بهترین و سودمندترین مال از اندوخته های انسان، صدقه دادن است». امام رضا (ع) بر حسب روایاتی درباره آثار و انواع صدقه می فرماید: «صدقه بده اگر چه چیز اندکی باشد. زیرا هر چیز اندکی اگر در راه خدا با نیت صادقانه داده شود بزرگ و ارزشمند است.» «با دادن صدقه، رزق و روزی زیاد از خداوند طلب کنید.» «بیمارانتان را با صدقه درمان کنید.» «هر کار نیکی یک نوع صدقه است و پاداش صدقه را دارد.» «کمک کردن به ضعیفان و محرومان از بهترین انواع صدقه است”. صدقه ای چنین اگر به رفتار عمومی تبدیل شود به جامعه صادق خواهیم رسید. جامعه ای که هم کلام مردمانش صادق است و هم رفتارشان بر مدار صداقت. روشن است که وقتی در دنیا که مزرعه آخرت است مردمان به کاشت و داشت محصولی چنین همت داشته باشند، در قیامت و برای ابدیت خویش چه محصولی برخواهند داشت. نکته ای که می توان بر آن تاکید کرد این است که حتی اگر قیامت را هم در نظر نداشته باشیم و فقط یک روی سکه در دیدمان باشد باز هم نیک رفتاری، در زندگی امروز ما هم ضریب پیدا خواهد کرد. در جامعه ای که همه نسبت به هم احساس مسئولیت کنند، زندگی امن تر و راحت تر و دل پذیرتر می شود پس به سنت رضوی نیک کرداری، توجه داشته باشیم و با عمل به آن، زیستن در شرایط بهتر را تجربه کنیم.
