رئیس دانشگاه فردوسی مشهد گفت: هماکنون، جزء 16 کشور اول دنیا در حوزه مستندات علمی هستیم.
به گزارش ایسنا، محمد کافی روز گذشته در مراسم رویداد چالشهای فناوری در حوزه مهندسی خوردگی که در دانشکده مهندسی دانشگاه فردوسی مشهد برگزار شد، افزود: تقریبا طی دو دهه اول بعد از انقلاب اسلامی شرایطی مانند جنگ وجود داشت و در واقع از 20 سال پیش تاکنون شتاب علمی ایران آغاز شده است.
کافی اظهار کرد: اگر به نقش و وظیفه دانشگاهها نگاهی بیندازیم، متوجه میشویم آنچه که در دنیا وظیفه دانشگاه تلقی میشود؛ تولید و توزیع دانش است و دانشگاهها باید این موارد را به عنوان یک وظیفه بر عهده گیرند.
وی افزود: در کنار این وظایف، هر ملت، کشور و منطقهای ممکن است بنا بر ارزشهایی که برایش مهم تلقی میشود، پیوستهایی به این وظایف اصلی اضافه کند که این پیوستها میتواند از جنس معنوی، مادی و رویکردی باشد.
رئیس دانشگاه فردوسی مشهد با بیان اینکه در غرب، تکامل دانشگاه و کسب و کار نوین به صورت هماهنگ پیش میرود، افزود: ما در فرازی از تاریخ کشور، تکنولوژی، فناوری و مقولههایی از این قبیل را تامین و همزمان دانشگاه تاسیس کردیم، اما ارتباط این دو با یکدیگر بسیار ضعیف بوده است.
کافی خاطرنشان کرد: در بعضی از حوزهها، دانشگاهها و مراکز علمی پیشرفت خوبی داشتهاند و زمانی که منحنی علمی کشور را مشاهده میکنیم، متوجه میشویم منحنی با شیب تند رو به بالا است. در واقع کشوری که حتی در بین 50 کشور اول به لحاظ علمی و فناوری نبوده است، هماکنون توانسته است در بین 16 کشور اول دنیا در حوزه مستندات علمی قرار گیرد و در بعضی از تکنولوژیهای خاص و رده بالا در بین رتبههای پنجم تا دهم قرار گیرد که این پیشرفت قابل تقدیر است.
رئیس دانشگاه فردوسی مشهد بیان کرد: به عنوان مثال در حوزه دفاعی بر داشتههای خود تکیه کردیم و توانستیم کارهای بزرگی انجام دهیم که این امر نشان میدهد در هر جنبهای که از موازیکاری جلوگیری کنیم، کار را به کاردان بدهیم و به جوانان اعتماد کنیم میتوانیم موفق باشیم.
