خوانندهای که هنوز زندگیاش پر از معماست؛
داریوش رفیعی، خواننده توانای موسیقی ایران که آثار ماندگاری چون «زهره» و «گلنار» را خوانده است، در ۳۱ سالگی و در اوج محبوبیت و شهرت درگذشت. او در آخرین سالهای حیاتش به اعتیاد مبتلا شد. افسانههای بسیاری درباره زندگی و روابط او میگویند.
هفتهنامه «صدا» نوشت: «روزی قرار بود که پرویز یاحقی دو صفحه برای «موزیکال کمپانی» به مدیریت عشقی ضبط کند و یک روی صفحه چهار مضراب سه گاه داریوش رفیعی باشد که طرفداران زیادی داشت. رفیعی گفته بود که من هم میآیم و ضرب چهار مضراب را اجرا میکنم. آن روز من و بیژن ترقی هم با پرویز یاحقی به منزل رفیعی رفتیم تا به منظور ضبط، او را با خود ببریم. ساعت در حدود ۲ یا ۳ بعدازظهر بود که به منزل رفیعی رسیدیم. دیدیم هنوز خواب است و سراپای ملحفهای که روی خود انداخته بود، از شدت مگس سیاه شده بود. اعتیاد زندگی او را تباه کرده بود. آن جوان خوشاندام و آزاده و مردمدوست از زندگی پریشان خود به عذاب آمده بود و به راستی در اواخر زندگی کوتاهش تحمل فرو ریختن شخصیتش را نداشت و مرگ را استقبال میکرد و دیدیم که چنین شد. به هر حال آن روز به استودیوی موزیکال کمپانی رفتیم و پرویز چهار مضرابش را اجرا کرد و چقدر هم خوب خواند». اینها را اسماعیل نواب صفا (ترانهسرا) به عنوان یک خاطره از داریوش رفیعی تعریف کرده است؛ خوانندهای که روزگاری تمام لالهزار جولانگاه او و ماشین قرمز مدلبالایش بود. او که داستانهای عاشقانهاش هنوز که هنوز است پر از افسانه و شور به نظر میآید. مرگ غمانگیزی داشت و زندگی پرهیاهو و عجیبی.
جوان اول خیابانهای تهران
در کرمان به دنیا آمد. فرزند لطفعلی رفیعی، نماینده مردم بم در مجلس شورای ملی. بر خلاف پدر از همان ابتدا زندگی خود را بر اساس هنر برنامهریزی کرد. ابتدا با بدیعزاده آشنا شد و از طریق او به رادیو راه یافت. رفیعی به صدا و شیوه خوانندگی بدیعزاده به خصوص گشادهرویی و مهربانی او علاقه بسیار داشت و بدیعزاده هم به قدری او را دوست داشت که داریوش در واقع جزو افراد خانواده او درآمده بود و اغلب شبها و روزها در خانه او به سر میبرد. او بعدتر با مصطفی گرگینزاده و مجید وفادار آشنا شد که حاصلش «زهره»، «شب انتظار» یا همان «شب به گلستان تنها منتظرت بودم» و همچنین «گلنار» شد. او به خواندن اشعار محلی رغبت زیادی نشان میداد. صدایش گرفتگی و شور و حال مخصوصی داشت و در آوازهایش تحریرهای کمی شنیده میشود. داریوش رفیعی خیلی زود به شهرت رسید. اسماعیل نواب صفا در کتاب خاطرات هنری خود با نام «قصه شمع» نوشته است: «پر از شوق و شور جوانی بود. قلبی به روشنی آفتاب داشت. وجودش سرشار از احساس بود. قامتی رسا و متناسب داشت. چهرهاش مصداق سبزه کشمیر بود که صدها دل را به زنجیر عشق کشیده بود. با لهجه غلیظ و شیرین کرمانی سخن میگفت و صداقت و پاکی در کلامش تبلور داشت. تازگی به تهران آمده بود و کسی او را نمیشناخت. سن عمرش بیش از ۲۱، ۲۲ سال را نشان نمیداد. در حرکاتش تصنع و تکلف دیده نمیشد. در سالهای ۱۳۲۶ و ۱۳۲۷ خیابانهای استانبول، نادری و لالهزار مجللترین و آراستهترین خیابانهای تهران بود. آن جوان سبزهرو و پرشور کرمانی ماشین قرمز رنگی داشت و گاه از ساعت ۱۰ بامداد که گردش یا خرید یا استراحت در خیابانهای لالهزار، استانبول و نادری آغاز میشد، با اتومبیل زیبای خود در آن خیابانها جولان میداد. کمتر کسی او را میشناخت ولی بعد از سال ۱۳۲۷ تا ۱۳۲۹ که بعضی شبها در رادیو آواز میخواند، مردم به تدریج با نام داریوش رفیعی آشنا شدند. پدرش لطفعلی رفیعی در دوره ۱۴ مجلس شورای ملی از شهر بم به نمایندگی انتخاب شده بود و خانهکوچ به تهران آمده بودند. داریوش که در سال ۱۳۲۹ به وسیله دوست و استادش بدیعزاده به طور مستمر در رادیو ایران برنامه اجرا میکرد. سنی حدود ۲۳ سال داشت. در دبیرستان دارایی درس میخواند ولی از سالهایی که صدای گرم و دلپذیرش او را به شهرت رساند، ادامه تحصیل را رها کرد. او در اوج شهرت بر اثر تزریق آمپول آلوده به کزاز مبتلا شد.
آخرین برف
بیژن ترقی درباره آخرین ساعات حیات رفیعی میگوید: «صبح دوم بهمن بود. برف سنگینی میبارید و با اتومبیل خودمان از جاده قدیم شمیران به سوی شهر میآمدیم. به ابتدای کوچه فردوس محل اقامت داریوش رسیدیم. دیدیم او به همراه مادرش به انتظار رسیدن اتومبیلی در کنار خیابان ایستاده است. بلافاصله توقف کردیم و از آنها خواستیم سوار شوند تا به شهر برویم. داریوش در حالی که از درد به خود میپیچید، در کنار من قرار گرفت و به درخواست آنها به سوی بیمارستان حرکت کردیم. ظاهرا بعد از تجویز آقای دکتر متوجه شده بودند که این درد کزاز است و باید واکسن بزنند. پیشنهادی که آقای لاریجانی، مدیر داروخانه عدالت داده بود و مورد توجه دکتر قرار نگرفته بود. بدبختانه در این مملکت هنوز هم قانونی برای تعقیب این دکترها و اشتباهاتی که مرتکب میشوند، وجود ندارد. به هر صورت کار از کار گذشته بود. داریوش با همان حال نزار گفت: «بیژن این آخرین باری است که برف و باریدن برف را میبینم. دیگر زندگی من به پایان رسیده.» دلداری دیگر چه فایدهای داشت. به بیمارستان رسیدیم، فورا تشخیص کزاز دادند. او را در اتاقی بستری کردند که همه پردههایش سیاه رنگ بود. به علاج پرداختند ولی دیگر سودی نداشت. اتاق بیمارستان پرده سیاه و به این ترتیب بود که زندگی جوانی در ۳۱ سالگی به طرزی عبرتآموز و تاثرانگیز به پایان رسید. او را در آرامگاه مرحوم ظهیرالدوله به خاک سپردند.
