مشتاق عشق در این خصوص گفت: در این دوره از مسابقات که برای اولین بار و به میزبانی ژاپن برگزار می‌گردد شناگران در دو بخش آقایان و بانوان از ١٢ تا ١٧ جولای با هم به رقابت می‌پردازند.

عضو کمیته فنی شنای بزرگسالان آسیا در ادامه افزود: مسابقات در سطح خوبی قرار دارد و امکانات بسیار مناسب می‌باشد و در همین راستا و به جهت رشد و توسعه شنا در آسیا جلسات مختلفی برگزار گردید و اعضای کمیته در این خصوص با هم به بحث و تبادل نظر پرداختند.

مشتاق در پایان خاطر نشان کرد: این مسابقات هر دو سال یکبار و به میزبانی یک کشور برگزار می‌گردد و بناست که دستاوردهای مفید و ارزشمندی را برای پیشرفت شنای هر کشور پایه گذاری نماییم.
