برنامه بازی‌های دوستانه تیم ملی فوتبال ایران تا جام جهانی ۲۰۱۸ مشخص شد
تیم ملی فوتبال کشورمان که خود را آماده حضور در جام جهانی ۲۰۱۸ روسیه خواهد کرد، از اواخر اسفندماه سال ۹۶ اردوهای رسمی خود را آغاز می‌کند و بازی‌های دوستانه‌ای نیز در نظر گرفته شده است.
برنامه اردوها و بازی‌های دوستانه تیم ملی هماهنگ شده و از همین‌رو تیم ملی اولین دیدار دوستانه خود را مقابل لیبی در ورزشگاه آزادی برگزار خواهد شد که این بازی در تاریخ ۲۳ اسفندماه برگزار می‌شود. این بازی قرار بود پشت درهای بسته برگزار شود که طبق تصمیم فدراسیون فوتبال با حضور هواداران برگزار خواهد شد.
بازی‌های دوستانه تیم ملی در ادامه در تعطیلات نوروزی برگزار می‌شود. دیدار دوستانه ایران و الجزایر در تاریخ ۷ فروردین‌ماه ۹۷ در اتریش برگزار می‌شود و یکی از سه تیم تونس، سنگال و بوسنی هم در تاریخ دوم فروردین‌ماه به مصاف شاگردان کی‌روش خواهند رفت.
تیم ملی ۱۸ اردیبهشت‌ماه ۹۷ مرحله بعدی اردوی خود را آغاز و در این اردو دیداری با ازبکستان برگزار خواهد کرد. ملی‌پوشان در تاریخ ۲۱ اردیبهشت‌ماه نیز با یکی از تیم‌های سوریه، لبنان یا اردن مصاف خواهند داد. ۳۰ اردیبهشت‌ماه دیدار ایران و ترکیه در خاک ترکیه قطعی شده و ۷ خردادماه تیم ملی دیدار خداحافظی خود را در تهران انجام خواهد داد که این مسابقه با یکی از تیم‌های بزرگ و مطرح خواهد بود.
تیم ملی فوتبال ایران ۱۲ خردادماه دیدار دوستانه دیگری را در یونان یا اتریش برگزار خواهد کرد که لهستان یا آلبانی جزو گزینه‌های مدنظر کارلوس کی‌روش هستند. آخرین دیدار دوستانه تیم ملی پیش از شروع دیدارهای جام جهانی ۱۸ خردادماه در مسکو برگزار می‌شود و یکی از تیم‌های صعودکننده به جام جهانی ۲۰۱۸ حریف شاگردان کی‌روش خواهد بود.
مهدی تاج، رئیس فدراسیون فوتبال برگزاری این دیدارها را تأیید کرده و قرارداد دیدارهایی که به‌صورت قطعی اعلام شده، به امضا رسیده است.
تیم ملی فوتبال کشورمان در اولین دیدار خود در رقابت‌های جام جهانی ۲۰۱۸ روسیه، ۲۵ خردادماه در سن‌پترزبورگ به مصاف مراکش خواهد رفت و پیش از برگزاری این دیدار نیز کمپ آماده‌سازی خود را در مسکو و در کمپ لوکوموتیو برپا خواهد کرد. شاگردان کی‌روش ۳۰ خرداد برابر اسپانیا و ۴ تیر ۹۷ مقابل پرتغال قرار می‌گیرند.
