انسان موجودی اجتماعی است که در هر یک از جوامع چه کوچک مثل خانواده و چه بزرگ مثل شهر و یا روستا قرار بگیرد فعالیت‌های روزانه فرد بسیار مهم بوده و نشان دهنده توانمندی‌های وی می‌باشد.
و انسان ناخودآگاه تمایل دارد از لحاظ موقعیت اجتماعی در شرایط مطلوبتری نسبت دیگران قرار گیرد و جایگاه بهتری را داشته باشد.
جایگاه هر فرد میزان اثرگذاری او در جامعه خانواده، جامعه محله، جامعه منطقه، جامعه شهر و…… می‌باشد، هر چقدر فرد اثرگذارتر باشد منزلت فردی و اجتماعی او بیشتر خواهد بود.
فعالیت‌هایی که افراد در جامعه انجام می‌دهند در 2 بعد مادی و معنوی دسته بندی می‌شود گونه‌ای از فعالیت‌ها ، انسان دوستانه است و هر فرد کم یا زیاد آنها را انجام می‌دهد تا به دیگران که ضعیف ترند کمک کرده باشد وچه بسا اینکه توقعی هم نداشته باشد و فعالیت‌های دیگری نیز برای افراد جامعه متداول است که به صورت تخصصی و حرفه‌ای انجام شده و در ازاء دریافت حق الزحمه انجام می‌شود و از آن به شغل تعبیر می‌شود و هر چند انجام فعالیت‌های معنوی پاداش عظیمی را در نزد خداوند به همراه دارد ولی بعد مادی فعالیت‌های آدمی انگیزه خاصی را در هر فرد به وجود می‌آورد و انسان را ترغیب می‌کند که در آن زمینه بیشتر و بهتر فعالیت نماید.

در چند سال اخیر به روابط بین فردی افراد جامعه با خود، همسایگان، همکاران و ….. بسیار توجه شده و اینکه این روابط چه اثراتی بر فرد و افراد می‌گذارد و بسیار پر اهمیت گردیده است.
موضوع نشاط و شادابی بحثی ست که در پیشرفت اهداف کوتاه مدت و اهداف بلند مدت تک تک آحاد جامعه مؤثر است این شاخصه فردی مهم در اجتماع‌های مختلف ، در دین و آئین ما نیز به آن توجه شده و در سبک زندگی اسلامی که اخلاق خوش و مثبت اندیشی است بسیار به آن توصیه شده است . در محقق شدن این خصیصه شغل اهمیت بسزایی دارد چرا که فرد در صورتی می‌تواند همواره شاد، شاداب و با نشاط باشد که به عنوان موجودی اجتماعی از لحاظ معنوی و فعال بوده و یا با عملکرد خوب، خود را در پیشرفت جامعه مؤثر ببیند و از لحاظ مالی نیز توانگر باشد. این توانمندی می‌تواند در انجام فعالیت‌های معنوی نیز وی را توانمندتر گرداند.
این موارد حس بسیار خوبی را در فرد به وجود می‌آورد تا حدی که این حس خوب، مؤثر بودن را در انسان تقویت و حتی باعث پویائی بیشتر در جامعه می‌گردد.
هر فرد می‌بایست در به وجود آوردن بهترین جایگاه شغلی برای خود تلاش کنید و از خیلی مؤلفه‌های مختلف مثل دولت توقع نداشته و با خلاقیت و ایده پردازی جایگاه شغلی مستحکم تری را برای خود مهیا نماید.
