مرگ خاموش دختر نوجوان در قوچان
فرمانده انتظامی شهرستان قوچان در تشریح این خبر گفت: دختر 16 ساله به طرز مشکوکی در منزل مسکونی‌شان دچار گازگرفتگی شد و جان خود را از دست داد.
سرهنگ قدمگاهی افزود: بعدازظهر روز گذشته، مرگ مشکوک دختری 16 ساله داخل اتاق خواب، به فوریت‌های پلیسی 110 قوچان اعلام شد. مأموران کلانتری 11 و نیروهای امدادی بلافاصله در محل مورد نظر حاضر و جسد دختر نوجوان کشف شد.
وی تصریح کرد: با گزارش موضوع به مقام قضائی، اقدامات اولیه به عمل آمد و جسد برای تعیین علت دقیق مرگ به پزشکی قانونی انتقال یافت. بررسی‌های اولیه پلیس حاکی از آن بود که تخریب شیلنگ گاز بخاری منجر به گازگرفتگی دختر نوجوان شده است. تحقیقات درباره علت حادثه ادامه دارد.
