در آستانه‌ فرارسیدن ماه محرم و ایام عزاداری سید و سالار شهیدان، مراسم غبارروبی ضریح مطهر حضرت ثامن‌الحجج امام علی بن موسی الرضا(علیه‌السلام)، روزگذشته با حضور حضرت آیت‌الله خامنه‌ای رهبر معظم انقلاب اسلامی، آیت الله علم الهدی نماینده ولی فقیه در استان خراسان رضوی، حجت الاسلام والمسلمین مروی تولیت آستان قدس رضوی، جمعی از علما و اقشار مختلف مردم در مشهد مقدس برگزار شد.

رهبر انقلاب اسلامی در سنوات گذشته نیز در این مراسم معنوی که از جمله برنامه‌های مستمر آستان قدس رضوی است، حضور داشته‌اند.
