معاون رئیس جمهور و رئیس سازمان انرژی اتمی ایران نیز در این دیدار گفت: شرایط کنونی ما بسیار مطلوب است و تاریخ می‌تواند ثابت کند. آن زمان می‌توان فهمید این ملت چه گام‌های بزرگ و با افتخاری آن هم به اعتبار هدایت و حمایت رهبر معظم انقلاب برداشته است.
علی اکبر صالحی دردیدار با استاندار خراسان رضوی در مشهد افزود: امروز بعد از قرن‌ها این ملت و انقلاب اسلامی دوباره در عصر حاضر، شیوه حکمرانی جدیدی به دنیا عرضه کرد. شیوه‌ای که نظام اسلامی بر آن بنا نهاده شده و عمود آن ولایت فقیه است که مشابه آن در هیچ جای دنیا دیده نشده است.
رئیس سازمان انرژی اتمی ایران گفت: طی 38 سال گذشته این نظام کارآیی خود را نشان داده و در بدترین شرایط، جنگ تحمیلی و فشار اقتصادی و تحریم‌های فلج کننده استوار ایستاده است. حال آنکه کشورهای اطراف ما یک تلنگر خوردند و این شرایط بر آنها حاکم شده است.
معاون رئیس جمهور افزود: خلیج آبستن حوادث بزرگی است اما ملت ایران هشت سال در تنهایی بدون هیچ کمکی جنگید. جنگی که جنگ جهانی بود و شرق و غرب به صدام کمک می‌کردند و یک تفنگ نمی‌توانست بخرد و ساده ترین سلاح در داخل قابل تولید نبود.
وی ادامه داد: امروز به جایی رسیده‌ایم که می‌گویند موشک نسازید. آیا آن زمان تصور می‌شد با وجود همه محدودیت‌ها روزی ایران موشک بسازد و ماهواره ساخته و موفقیت آمیز آن را در مدار قرار دهد. در واقع این امر و این دیدگاه و پیام شروع چالش ما با غرب بود.
رئیس سازمان انرژی اتمی ایران گفت: این ملت دو ویژگی اصلی دارد که در انقلاب اسلامی نمود داشته است. امروز در انقلاب اسلامی بعد از پدیده حکمرانی جدید که این ملت به دنیا عرضه داشته در عین حال اندیشه پروری کرده است. امروز در حوزه‌ها و مراکز علمی و دانشگاه‌ها نمود آن را شاهدیم.
معاون رئیس جمهور افزود: غرب می‌داند ما در بعد اقتصادی برایش رقیب نیستیم. علت چالش آن است که ما در مقابل نظامی ایستاده‌ایم که طی یکصد سال کارآیی خود را در جهان به رخ کشیده و امروز ملتی آمده که بر این نظام خدشه وارد نموده و می‌گوید نظام جهانی مردم پسند و مبتنی بر فطرت انسانی نیست و نظامی صرفا با بعد مادی و فاقد سایر ابعاد است.
