در این پیام آمده است: بیشک حضور شگفتانگیز مردم در سر صندوقها یک حادثه و حماسه بسیار بزرگی بود که در خاطره ملت ماندگار شد. نقش بیبدیل اصحاب رسانه، فرهنگ و هنر را نمیتوانیم در خلق این اثر بزرگ در تاریخ این سرزمین فراموش کنیم. اما دیروز من در یک مصاحبه ای طنزگونه نکتهای را عرض کردم که شنیدم باعث تکدر خاطر جمعی از اصحاب فرهنگ و هنر شد. من تاکید میکنم که سرمایههای بزرگ ما، اصحاب فرهنگ و هنر بوده و هستند.
عملکرد ما، بیان ما و تصمیمات ما در همه این دوره ها در جهت تقویت جایگاه و کرامت و منزلت اصحاب فرهنگ و هنر بوده است.
اساسا دولت بدون حمایت و پشتیبانی این جامعه بزرگ نمی تواند به مقصد و مقصود برسد. در عین حال اگر این سخن طنز من باعث رنجش شد، صمیمانه از همه شما اصحاب فرهنگ و هنرعذرخواهی می کنم.
ما دولت تدبیر و امید به مردم گفتیم که برای عذرخواهی لکنت زبان نداریم. باور داشته و داریم که توسعه و تعالی این سرزمین بدون پشتوانه هنر و هنرمندان و اصحاب رسانه اعم از سینما، موسیقی، شعر و تئاتر و هنرهای تجسمی وهمه کسانی که دل در گرو فرهنگ و هنر این سرزمین نامی دارند، ناممکن است. بار دیگر عرض سلام و ادب و اخلاص خود را به همه عرض می کنم و اگر باعث تکدر شما شدم صمیمانه عذرخواهی میکنم.»
