خسرو حیدری در واکنش به خبر درگذشت پیرزن استقلالی گفت: خبر مرگ ایشان واقعا من و بقیه استقلالی ها را ناراحت کرد و به همه استقلالی ها درگذشت این هوادار را تسلیت می گویم.
گل افروز پارسی اسماعیل آبادی، ملقب به ننه مشهدی هوادار معروف استقلالی روز شنبه در سن ۸۷ سالگی درگذشت. ننه مشهدی یکی از شناخته ترین هواداران استقلال بود که به ورزشگاه هم رفته بود و تمرین استقلال را هم از نزدیک تماشا کرده بود.
خسرو حیدری مدافت استقلال که به همراه این تیم در اردوی ارمنستان به سر می برد درباره فوت هوادار استقلال گفت: « خبر مرگ ایشان واقعا من و بقیه استقلالی ها را ناراحت کرد و به همه استقلالی ها درگذشت این هوادار را تسلیت می گویم. او از قدیمی ترین هواداران باشگاه بود و قطعا هواداران سرمایه اصلی استقلال هستند.»
